Google's Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash makes video clips up to 15 seconds long and costs 30% less
Google released Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash on Nov. 5, raising the longest clip it makes from 10 to 15 seconds and letting people fix a clip through follow-up requests instead of starting over. Google says it keeps faces, products and brand colors more consistent and costs about $0.07 a second for 720p video through its developer tools, 30% less than before. It is also reaching Google Vids for Workspace Business and Enterprise plans and Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers over a few days.
Why it matters to a business like yours
A 15-second clip is long enough for a short ad, a product turn or a walk-through of a finished job. If you already pay for Google Workspace, try one clip in Vids from your own product photos, and check every frame for wrong labels or prices before you post it.
