OpenAI is merging the Chat and Work tabs in the ChatGPT desktop app

OpenAI told users by email that it will fold the Chat and Work tabs in ChatGPT into one experience, TechCrunch reported on Nov. 2, starting with a small group of users before a wider rollout. In the combined view, people can bring in files and plugins and ask ChatGPT to build a website, make a presentation or carry out steps on the web. Codex stays a separate section of the desktop app, and OpenAI gave no date for everyone.
