Make Claude check its own work
The job: Catch made-up facts before anything goes out
AI can add a detail that sounds right and isn't: a date, a number, a promise you never made. Before you send anything with facts in it, have Claude compare its draft to your original.
The prompt to copy
Now check your draft against what I gave you. List anything you added that wasn't in my notes, and any number, date or name that doesn't match. Don't rewrite yet, just list them.
What a good answer looks like
A short list, or "nothing added." Then you check the two or three items yourself.
The mistake to avoid
Treating the check as the final word. It catches most slips; a person still reads anything with a price, a date or a promise in it.
