Tell it what you don't want
The job: Stop rewriting the same AI habits out of every draft
If every draft comes back too long, too cheerful or full of words you'd never use, say so up front. A short "don't" list saves the same edits every time.
The prompt to copy
Write this in plain English. No exclamation points, no jargon, nothing longer than 150 words, and don't promise dates or prices.
What a good answer looks like
A draft that already sounds like your office, with nothing you'd have to take out.
The mistake to avoid
Writing the list once and forgetting it. Save it so you can paste it every time (the Styles and Projects tips show how to make it stick).
Works the same in ChatGPT and Copilot.
