Translate a customer notice, then have it checked
The job: Reach customers who read Spanish or another language
A sign, a text reminder or a short notice in a customer's own language goes a long way. Claude handles translation well, especially when you tell it who will read it. For anything with a price, a date or a rule in it, have a fluent person read it before it goes out.
The prompt to copy
Translate this into [Spanish] for [who will read it, like customers at our front desk]. Keep it friendly and simple, the way a local business would say it, not word for word. Then translate your version back into English so I can check that nothing changed: [paste].
What a good answer looks like
A translation that sounds natural, and a back-translation that matches what you meant.
The mistake to avoid
Posting it unchecked. The back-translation catches most slips; a fluent reader catches the ones that just sound odd.
Works the same in ChatGPT and Copilot.
